2003 Hyundai Sante Fe. Engine has rough idle which is more pronounced when in gear and less when transmission is put in neutral. Once engine is up to speed 25 or higher engine seems to smooth out and run fine. Cylinder 2 had a misfire light changed plugs reset but no light is coming back on?

Reason For Hyundai Tucson P0729 CodeThe reason of Hyundai Tucson P0729 OBD-II Engine Trouble Code is P0729 Automatic Transmission 6th Gear Incorrect Ratio. Could be a solenoid issue.
There are several possible causes for the drivability issue you describe. I'd be guessing at this point with the limited information here. Best advice, take it to an authorized Hyundai Service Department & have it properly diagnosed. This way you'll find out exactly what the problem is and what it will take to fix it.
You need to take your car and have the check engine light read. You can do that a AutoZone for free and they will tell you want is wrong. Can you give more details on the "Jumping" part? Is it when you put it into gear? While its sitting their?
Hi
This issue is caused by a fault in the evap. emmision system. In the engine compartment there is a purge valve that takes in engine vaccum and fuel vapours. The valve is malfunctioning. It is located on the right side of the intake planum.
IF NO FAULT CODES CAME UP ITS NOT A ELECTRICAL FAULT.IT SOUNDS LIKE A RESTRICTION OF AIR. CHECK YOUR DUCTING PIPES AND ALSO THE BUTTERFLY ON THE TROTTLE BODY.CHECK AIR FILTER FOR DIRT OR WATER
The filter sits on top of the transmission. look under the hood on drivers side it screws right on top of the transmission. It looks like an engine oil filter.
