2002 Dodge Neon- A light stays on on the dashboard, I can't tell if it's a transmission light, or a check engine light. (I prefer words to the images, which is what the Dodge Neon has) It has 115k miles and the vehicle vibrates a lot- to the point where it's hard to even see things in the sideview and rearview mirrors. Any clue what these two things are a result of, and how to fix it? Thanks for all help!

Come on here, the check engine is yellow/amber color

Easy! Basically you pop off the plastic cover on the inside of the door that leads to the sideview mirror. Remove the two or three nuts and pull the mirror out from the exterior of the door....installation is in reverse....that simple.

2002 dodge neon wont shift outta first and speedometer wont work ,already replaced input and output sensors

Maybe the speedometer connection at the transmission might be interfering with the shift lever at the transmission. Not sure if this would apply to the 2002 Neon but on some older model cars I believe it could happen. Just a thought.

THe engine light is notifying you that the cpu has found sensors that are outside set parameters. Have the fault code s read and replace faulty unots.

2002 Dodge Neon, approx 99,000 miles, engine light came on, error code PO605 & another error code related to transmission, auto transmission - driving anything over 25 mph won't "kick up"...

Its the TCM- Replace the Transmission Control Module. WITH THE DRBIII PERFORM QUICK LEARN AND REPROGRAM PINION FACTOR.

Got 2005 dodge neon 2.0 engine code 700 and 732 what does this mean

700=TRANSMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM, NEED TO READ TRANSMISSION DTC's ON THE DRBIII(R)
732= TRANSMISSION.....POSSIBLE CAUSES----RELATED DTC'S PRESENT, TRANSMISSION SOLENOID/PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY, INTERNAL TRANSMISSION, INTERMITTENT GEAR RATIO ERRORS..

The yellow light that looks like a transmission or and engine just came on in my 2001 Dodge neon. What could it mean?

That is your check engine light. It means there is some sort of problem with the engine most likely electrical. It will have to be hooked to a scan tool to find out what is causing it to come on.

That is your check engine light. If go to autozone or advance auto they will check it out and tell you why it's on.

Service engine light

first thing is to go to autozone. get a free check engine diagnostic. they will tell you whats wrong. could be plugs, wires, distributor cap, egr valve, bad gas....could ba a lot but they will tell you better

that would be your check engine light... stop by your local autozone and ask them to scan the codes (free) and they should be able to tell you what they are... post them here when you find out
