My passenger side door stoped opening from the outside. For one day i had to always open the door for passengers from my drivers seat. Now the inside wont open the door either. The outside handle is stuck up (like where it stops when you normally go to open the door). For now, i cant even get my passenger door open. -Brandon

Try unplugging the passenger door module from the wiring harness. Module may be bad. I see one screw holding it with tabs at the other end. You should be able to pull it up without removing the door panel. I see there are modules online for less than $40.

I don't know if this will help but, my 1999 is on the outside of the passenger seat. Open the passenger door and look down. I hope its the same and Good Luck!!

There is a child lock on it. Open the door and look on the edge of the door, where it mates to the body when the door closes. There's a lever there that is labeled as the child lock. It'll show her which way to switch the lever to allow the door to be opened from inside the car.
