Emergency flasher switch

The Hazard Warning flasher switch is located in the center of the instrument panel above the radio. Press the switch to turn on the Hazard Warning flasher. When the switch is activated, all directional turn signals will flash on and off to warn oncoming traffic of an emergency. Press the switch a second time to turn off the Hazard Warning flasher. This is an emergency warning system and should not be used when the vehicle is in motion. Use it when your vehicle is disabled and is creating a safety hazard for other motorists. When you must leave the vehicle to seek assistance, the Hazard Warning flasher will continue to operate even though the ignition switch is OFF. NOTE: With extended use, the Hazard Warning flasher may wear down your battery. http://cdn.dealereprocess.com/cdn/servicemanuals/chrysler/2010-townandcountry.pdf

Can you tell me the location of the flasher unit for a 1998 mack quantum Please.. I'm unable to find it. The trucks fuse box is on the left front side under the dash. But no flasher unit is visible in...

Flasher units are sometimes fitted in the steering column cowling and sometimes not far away from the hazard warning light switch. I have also known them to be behind the instrument panel.

Some manufacturers like the clicking sound to be heard and others don't care. When the flasher unit is buried deep somewhere some have even fitted a clicking device to reassure the driver.

Sorry I can't help further.

Replacement The turn and hazard flashers are integrated into one flasher on these models. The flasher is located in the hazard warning switch and the hazard warning switch is located on the trim plate. Replace the flasher by unplugging the old one, removing it from the panel, and plugging in the new one.

Location of fusebox on 1980 corvette

Fuses are located in the junction box below the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. The turn signal flasher and hazard warning flasher also plug into the fuse block. Each fuse receptacle is marked as to the circuit it protects and the correct amperage of the fuse. In line fuses are also used. Refer to the Fuse Chart at the end of the information for their location. The fuse block on some models is a swing-down unit located in the underside of the instrument panel adjacent to the steering column. Access to the fuse block on some models is gained through the glove box opening. The Convenience Center on some models is a swing-down unit located on the underside of the instrument panel. The swing-down feature provides central location and easy access to buzzers, relays and flasher units. All units are serviced by plug-in replacement. Location of Convenience Center on specific models may vary.

Flasher relay/fuse location?

the hazard warning lights fuse is in the under hood fuse box. Its a 15A and should be listed as No. 5 in your owner's manual. If you look at your fuse box from the front, it would be in the top row of small fuses on the left side of the box---the farthest fuse on the right.
