Follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator back to where it connects to the intake manifold whare the hose clamp is . The part the hose attaches to is called the goose neck the Tstat is located under this part usealy 2 or 3 bolts hold it on but it is a water seal so you will need a new gasket for it , Cleaning the surfaces that mate together is vary important to get a good seal gasket sealer can help but the cleaning is more important and don't try to over tighten the bolts you may crack the goose neck . The torque is likely 12 to 18 ftlbs max . Check the condution of the antifreeze this cause most of the problems with over heating and every 5 years or so you need to replace the antifreeze Hope it works Tstat is not expensive or that difficult to do

Yes, it is a known issue. The best thing is to connect it to a pro grade scan tool computer when it is hot and examine the data.

How to replace radiator on a 2004 chrysler concord 3.5 engine

Remove the 10mm bolts from the fan blade & remove it. Now you have room to work. Next drain the radiator & disconnect hoses. The small bottom ones are the transmission cooler hoses, plug them. Next remove the 2 top retainer brackets. You should now be able to pull it out.

Cost replace starte 99 chrysler concord

It really depends on where the work is being done because labor rates are different at each shop. I can tell you that in my labor guide it says it takes 2 hour to replace the starter so depending on the shop you take it to would/should be 2 hour in labor. The Concorde came with a 2.7 and a 3.2 liter engine but the labor time is the same. Now as far as the cost of the starter both engines have a list price of about $300.00 but if you were to purchase the part (if the shop lets you) it mast likely would be about half that cost for the parts. Hope I was able to help

Where is the thermostat located on a 2004 chrysler concord 3.5

The thermostat is located at the end of the lower radiator hose at the engine Next to the oil filter. Sometimes it is easier to change the oil at the same time cause if you remove the oil filter it makes it easier to get to one of the bolts to remove the housing where the thermostat is. Hope this helps

How to replace the thermostat on a 2002 chrysler concorde lx 2.7 engine size

The Thermostat is under the connector for the upper radiator hose on the Engine. Trace the upper Radiator hose back to the engine and remove the 2 to 3 bolts holding the engine mounting to the engine. The thermostat is under that. If you don't have the thermostat already you can remove it and replace the cover and drive to the Auto parts store and purchase it then drive back and put the new part in after the engine cools. If you are replacing this because of over heating doing this will tell you if that was truly the problem or if the problem was actually the water pump. Using the vehicle over short distances without the thermostat will not damage your engine in the summer months. It is mainly there for winter months to let the engine warm up before the cooling fluid starts flowing anyway. Heck, I have one vehicle that hasn't had a thermostat in it for 2 years now. Runs great.
