On this particular model there is only one fuse block. This car is called a w126 body. The fuse block is located under the hood, driver's side, nearest the windshield, under a black cover about 5 inches by 8 inches and has a quick release clasp right in front. Pull up on this clasp and make sure it releases, pull the lid up as it will hinge up, and pull the back towards you to remove it all of the way. The inside of the lid will have positions for all of the fuses. If you need anything else for this car, feel free to ask. I do have manuals for these.

they are on seveal different places. Some are in the fuse box located under the hood in front of the driver. Others are inside the car behind the dash. What relay in particular are you trying to find?

Probably has 3 or 4 of them in the exhaust from the header down past the catalytic converter. Your check engine code should have stated which one. Anyway, an easy fix, might need special tool, check it out, Hope this helps.

You will need to remove the rear seats to access the hole just above the shock. Remove the bottom seat cushion first, then find the small bolts that hold the upper seat to the frame. Once removed, you will see access to the top of the shocks (might have a plastic covering the hole).

Location of Fuse boxes for 96 Mercedes S-420

there are several fuse boxes. what isn't working. there is 1 on passanger side of the trunk. one in front of the brake master cyl. in the engine compartment and I beleive there is one on the l side of the dash behhind the plastic cover. there is also an overvoltage protection relay under the plastic cover on the right side of engine compartment behond rear firewall. the cover is retained by 4mm allen head bolts or phillips screws
