My daughters 2002 Tahoe has no brake lights. Bulbs are good checked the fuse under the hood=good, also checked the fuse under the back seat labeled brake, it was good also. Now the ABS light and hand brake dash warning lights are on. My guess is pulling the fuse under the back seat tripped a code for the warning dash lights. So how do I reset the dash warning lights? By the way, still no brake lights...turn, direction, and running lights are good. Also the brake light over the back window is working. thanks

To clear the code disconnect the battery, you could have a bad brake lite swich, its under the dash by the brake pedal

Testimonial: "I'll do the battery disconnect and then check the brake switch...could be it."

99 Toyota camry, rear brake lights not working,is there a fuse box under hood?

put a prybar between seat and brake pedal and use a test light on the wire in trunk where bulbs are sometimes bulbs look good but aren't or you got wrong bulb. a test light will verify that and make sure test light lights

Brake and tail lights not working, probably a fuse but we don't have the owners manual to determine which fuse to check

on the 2002 tahoe, the brake light fuse is a 10 amp located on the top row center. the fuses for the parking lights are located in the convenience box under the hood on the driver side wheel well. there should be a decal label on the covers.

Driver side brake light doesnt work but other brake light does changed bulbs still does not work

Make sure the fuses are good. There is a fuse for left and right brake lights. The fuse blocks are under the hood and there`s also one under the drivers side rear seat.If the fuses are good then remove the rear lamp assembly and check the bulb.I believe there are 2 screws and then just pull lamp assembly out.Hope this helps.Good luck.

What do the relays and fuses look like under the hook of a 96 s 10 blazer. Someone said to check theses and how do you. My brake lights dont work and the 10A fuse under the dash is good and i replaced the...

Did you check or replace the brake light bulbs?
It is more common to have burnt bulbs than a bad brake light switch or blown fuse.
Do you have orange signal lights and red brake lights at the rear?
Then the signal light switch will not affect the brake lights.....but....
If they are all red and you use the same bulbs for brake and signal....the brake light wiring goes through the signal light switch and could be affected there.
First....check for power getting to the brake light switch......and leaving it with a test light.......then go to the rear....pull a light assembly and check for power getting to the bulbs.no power? follow the wiring back to the switch looking for a bad connection.
The fuses and relays under the hood are usually in a black plastic box labeled fuses and or relays.

All of the rear lights went out on 2001 tahoe,

Appears that there is a relay in the system as well, so check & swap same number relay if you can, i'll dig a little deeper in meantime.
