2000 Isuzu Rodeo (just purchased), anti-theft alarm goes off periodically for no apparent reason. Was going to remove fuse, but it is already gone. How can this be possible, unless someone has bypassed the fuse box for this component? Nothing is readily apparent to my untrained eye.

I had a 1998 rodeo with similar issue. We ended up losing the dome light fuse and now works fine, ther than no radio or dome light.

Could having a factory anti theft system and a alarm system in a 2000 isuzu rodeo cause problem because mine will go off randomly and nobody is around

Your alarm system should have a sensitivity setting screw, if you can locate it, it's probably buried behind your dash. If you adjust the sensitivity it might help with the problem.

How to bypass immoblizer and theft system on 2000 isuzi rodeo

Have you verified the timing belt isn't broken? It's getting fuel?
Have you recently purchased a new ignition key, or did the battery go dead on your fob? Could be fuel pump, or even a fuse.
Start the cheapest....Check all fuses, under the dash and the hood. Listen for the fuel pum to buzz when key is turned on.

Anti theft reset

well the only thing that states about a anti theft alarm, in my manual, is if you leave your key in the ignition, and open the door it will sound a buzzer, to remind you that you need to remove your key, this is on page #114, nothing else is mentioned about this sorry not much help.

Most cars that are mid 90s and newer had a remote feature. If you take it by the parts department of and Isuzu dealer they should be able to order you one or two.

2000 isuzu Rodeo wont start

Could be your neutral safety switch, or it's not all the way in park. Broken or loose wires in the starting circuit. Inspect all wires and connectors at the battery, starter solenoid, and ignition switch. Or your starter pinion is jammed in the ring gear. Remove starter and inspect. Last but not least, your engine is seized. You don't want that one. Good luck.

Anti theft dash light is blinking on my 1998 rodeo and will not start now. Tried unhooking battery to reset, but no luck. Will not crank from jumping off either. Battery is good, all lights and the radio...

I'm assuming its an original alarm or system that came from factory or dealer. When the light blinks is because the alarm is activated. Look underneath the radio the alarm brain might be there. There will be a label on it saying alarm or security system etc. Disconnect the harness to it and try operating your vehicle.
