Hi Your S class has two batteries. The smaller one is located in the engine bay, and the bigger one in the boot (trunk). No need to access any of them, simply open the door with key, insert key to start engine, you will notice that not all ignition lights will come on, but the engine WILL start, and the batteries will be recharged after a short while.
Sorry, the car will not start or turn over at all. Really dead battery(ies).
OK. Open the hood and remove the black plastic cover in the far right corner of the engine bay to reveal the engine start battery, which you can boost start. You should also see a red cap covering the +ve boost point. If for any reason you cannot find it, then open the fuse box at the opposite side, atach the black boost cable to the engine block and the red one to alternate fuses until your remote fob unlocks car.

Sounds like a plan. I'll try it and let you know. They disguise the start battery very well under the hood and honestly, I never have any problem with the car and this might be the 2nd time I've had the hood open. 23K miles. Oil and gas.
