Have to what seems to be a radiator leek on passenger side right in front of rear tire. I looked underneath and saw rubber "coolant" lines right above the spring? My question is: is this part of the coolant system and how can I change this out to stop the leak? Thank you Warren

These are cut and pasted from autozone.com. They are a bit abbreviated. If there are so crews visible on the panels, pry them gently and pull them straight out, as they are probably held in by spring-loaded clips. Please let me know if you get stuck or have questions.

Removal & Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cable.






Partially drain the cooling system into a clean container for reuse.






Remove the right rear quarter trim panel by removing or disconnecting the following:







1st row seat



2nd row seat, if equipped



Sliding door sill trim panel and the quarter trim bolster



C-pillar and D-pillar trim panels



1st row seat belt anchor and the 2nd row seat anchor, if equipped



Quarter trim-to-quarter panel screws from the bolster area



Quarter trim-s rear edge-to-bracket screws



Quarter trim-to-quarter panel hidden clips, located rearward of the sliding door



Quarter trim from the quarter panel



Electrical connector from the accessory power outlet, if equipped












If equipped, pass the 2nd row seat belt through the slot in the trim panel.






Pass the 1st row seat belt through the slot in the trim panel.






Remove the quarter trim panel from the vehicle.














Remove the rear auxiliary heater hoses clamps from the rear heater core.






Remove the rear heater hoses from the rear heater core.






Remove the rear heater core-to-chassis screws.






Carefully lift the rear heater core and tubes up and out of the rear auxiliary housing.

Quarter trim from the quarter panel
Electrical connector from the accessory power outlet, if equipped


If equipped, pass the 2nd row seat belt through the slot in the trim panel.
Pass the 1st row seat belt through the slot in the trim panel.
Remove the quarter trim panel from the vehicle.


Remove the rear auxiliary heater hoses clamps from the rear heater core.
Remove the rear heater hoses from the rear heater core.
Remove the rear heater core-to-chassis screws.
Carefully lift the rear heater core and tubes up and out of the rear auxiliary housing.

To install:

Carefully, install the rear heater core into the rear auxiliary housing.
Install the rear heater core-to-chassis screws.
Install the rear heater hoses to the rear heater core.
Install the rear auxiliary heater hoses clamps to the rear heater core.
Install the right rear quarter trim panel by performing the following procedure:
Install the quarter trim panel to the vehicle.
Pass the 1st row seat belt through the slot in the trim panel.
If equipped, pass the 2nd row seat belt through the slot in the trim panel.
If equipped, connect the electrical connector to the accessory power outlet.
Install the quarter trim to the quarter panel.
Rearward of the sliding door, connect the quarter trim-to-quarter panel hidden clips.
Install the quarter trim-s rear edge-to-bracket screws.
At the bolster area, install the quarter trim-to-quarter panel screws.
Install the 1st row seat belt anchor and the 2nd row seat anchor, if equipped.
Install the C-pillar and D-pillar trim panels.
Install the quarter trim bolster and the sliding door sill trim panel.
If equipped, install the 2nd row seat.
Install the 1st row seat.


Refill the cooling system.
Connect the negative battery cable.
Run the engine to normal operating temperatures; then, check the climate control operation and check for leaks.

NOTE
If the rear heater core was emptied and not refilled, it will be necessary to thermal cycle the vehicle twice. Run the engine until the thermostat opens; then, turn the engine OFF and allow it to cool.
