Hi,

Operation: The offsets on an engines crankshaft are designed so that the power stroke of one piston forces the next piston in the firing order up on its compression stroke. The firing order is derived from the design of the crankshaft and is critical to smooth engine operation If an ignition wire is hooked up to the wrong plug, there is at least one other plug that is wrong too. This is referred to as crossed wires. Advice: The best way to ensure that your firing order is correct is to replace the spark plug wires one at a time. Start with the longest wire, and work your way one by one down to the shortest wire. If in doubt, the repair guides are a good source for information on the firing order and ignition wire-set routing.

when ordering fuel pump, need to know the vin letter w or z. one is for a carb and the other is for a injection or vortec engine. one puts out 11psi and the other puts out 60psi. is this an in tank fuel pump?

4.3 L vortec firing orcer and wiring diagram

you need the firing order?? it is 1, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 clockwise. Number one on cap is forward position, or 6 o'clock position, just left of the hold down bolt.

not sure what u mean by 'all 3 firing orders'.Here are the firing orders for 4 and 6 cyl engines, and plug # locations.
4cyl. is 1-3-4-2 #1 being at the front of the engine
6cyl is 1-2-3-4-5-6 Front of engine Pass. side is #1, front of engine driver side is #2, back to pass side for #3, etc, Hope this answers your question, if not let me know and I'll help some more.
