I have a 2005 Saturn Vue, 4 cyl, manual transmission. All of a sudden when I am driving, the car seems like it is running out of gas. I can pull over, shut it off, then restart it and it is fine. It is happening more often now. I do have a check engine light that stays on all the time, but when this happens the light starts to blink.

Yup. The throttle body connectors have a history of failing on these cars. Replace the throttle body and the wire connectors that go to it, and you're back in business. Not terribly difficult and you can get the parts from any dealer. Saturn actually has a bulletin out on this problem but they won't cover it unless you're under warranty - no recall for this.

they don't want you too ... there is a terminal usually near one of the strut towers with a red cap on it and you hook up the ground to any where else metal is showing.

try autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you

that trans. is verry expensive. talk to saturn dealer, there is a special extended warranty on that trans.

the scan tool that you are using will not read codes from all of the modules. take the car to a gm dealer to have it checked with a tech2
