the driver side door won't open from the inside. It opens from the outside so I have to roll down the window and open the door before i shut the engine off.

There is a mechanical linkage that connects the lock cylinder to the mechanism. The linkage has a plastic coupler that has probably failed. As to the window it sounds like a failed switch. Any repair shop or body shop should be able to fix both easily.
Being a 2009 you might have to buy a new 1 at the dealer.unless you get lucky and find 1 in a junk yard.Alot of inner door handles can be changed by removing screw for trim on handle(usually in the center of handle,might have cover over it if so pop cover off to revael screw) and remove door rods off back of handle.If not you will need to remove door panel.
Try a slim jim first, down the side of the window. Or AAA or locksmith. If no luck, remove the seat first. Find the screws and bolts around the door handle and arm rest. Most Ford's have screws around the outer side of the panel. I don't believe your's does. The panel lifts or pops off. Once the panel is off, you can reach down and open the door. Just a note. I have done some to where the panel came out in pieces.
Since you can get the door open, half the battle is already won. Yes, open the door, pull the interior door panel and take a look around. Watch inside with a flashlight (towards the rear of the door) as you roll the window down to see if you can see what it's snagged on.
there is a clip on the back side of the window winder handle it is in the shape of a c you need to take a pair of neddle nose plires and pull the clip out and the handle will come off
