Hi. Normally any squeeking sounds will come form the shock mountings. You can try a bit of oil. If you open the trunk, you will notice two large bumps, one on either side. Lift the carpet and find rubber mountings with a bolt and nut. Spray a little silicone spray or other lubricant and give it a try. If all else fails, go to your nearest dealer. Hope this helps

Hi. If you open the trunk, on the left and right side of the trunk you wil notice a bulge in the carpet (just above the rear wheels inside the trunk) Remove the plastic clips with a flat screwdriver and remove the carpet. You should now see the shock mounting. It has a large nut with what looks like a rather thick bolt facing upwards. Spray a bit of lubricant on and around the rubbers and replace the carpet. Hope this helps

Getting nocking noise from rear of Toyota previa driver side

This can come from the suspension or the drive section but it is best to check if the fault is seen on the road or even while it is idling.if so the exhaust must be checked as a low idling can make the exhaust tap on the sides , specially the muffler or the exhaust pipes. If an inspection is done on the bottom side it will reveal the case.if not check the suspension and drive.

Get the clutch checked, if that's ok, it's transmission time. The synchronizers are shot if the clutch is ok 7 it still gives a problem.

96 previa was smoking but went away then after 40 miles the temp went up,so I had it towwed to shop. He told me the engine siezed. Went to pick it up and started it then drove home. when I checked oil it...

this sounds like your head gasket has blown this would be the reason why you have cream colored water, this is oil in the water and loosing water is also a sign of head gasket , a creamy residue on the oil filler cap is also a sign, overheating is defiantly a sign if you have the other 2 all three points to head gasket, you will possibly need the head skimmed now as well...hope this helps

Rattling Noise

The power steering pump could be going bad. The noise coming from the catalytic converter could be something as simple as a mounting bracket coming loose, or worst case something busted internally.

Oil light on toyota previa

have the oil pressure checked ... if you are not using too low a viscositity of oil (the weight) you might be able to use a thicker weight oil to raise the pressure.
