Hi, My car is Mitsubishi Lancer GLXI 1994. My fuel gauge is not working. The pointer of the gauge is stuck on its first bar. Even you full the tank with gas or turn off the engine. Please send me a step by step instruction.

Sounds like the fuel guage sending unit or fuel level sender
here's some information I found

under the back seat. there are 2 little handles
one under the left back seat and the other under the right back seat
pull both of these and the seat should be free,
remove the seat from the car.
once this is off pry off the metal plate in the middle (sort of looks like an ashtray)
underneath should be the fuel tank sender. You can use an ohmmeter to test it: when full it should read 2-3 ohms, when nearly empty should read 115-120 ohms.

hope this helps

Most likely the transmission. Could be in the valve body or it may be the reverse clutch piston seal (if it is a separate unit) and lastly it may be something stuck in the fluid passages in the transmission body.
