I have a 1995 b400 v6 2 wheel drive pick up. Both my brake lights went out all of a sudden. I still have parking lights, turn signals, reverse lights, but no brake lights. I still have brakes. I just put a new brake light switch at the brake light pedal with no results. What else can I try?????? Chris

Might just be the brake light fuse is blown.

Turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights all blinking when turn signal is activated

The right tail light assembly is not grounding the chassis. Pull the access panel off and look for the ground points from the wiring harness and the assembly. Undo the nuts a bit and tighten them again. That should restore the ground and clear the problem.

Brakes failed, went to floor, brake light came on what now?

Check the inside of the tires to see if you find any brake fluid, some flex pipe going to the front calipers or rear wheel cylinder might have busted.

My 1995 Chevy Tahoe brake light switch wont stay in position and the brake lights stay on. I replaced the switch and had the same problem.

Brake Light Switch REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disable the SIR system (if equipped).
  3. Remove the clip (R/V Series) or unclip the switch (C/K Series) and unplug the electrical connector from the brake light switch.
  4. Remove the switch.
  5. Installation is the reverse of removal.

My parking brake light stays on and my brakes seem to be sticking as well.1995 Chev.pick-up,I pulled the rear wheels off and found I could still rotate the drum without any sticking or rubbing. Could this...

it sounds like the front brake slides/or pins are sticking i would service front calipers and apply lube where needed. For the brake light you would need to check the brake fluid level sensor turn it counter clockwise 1/4 turn and clean with brake clean if that doesn't work unplug the sensor and if light goes off replace sensor for brake fluid level. Also make sure parking brake is totally released.

The neutral safety switch on the tranny is going out. Replace this switch and you should not have any more problems. This switch registers that your foot is on the brake before it will allow it to come out of park to keep kids from accidently engaging the shifter.

Passanger side brake light issue

Yes! It is a faulty turn signal assembly. You can try actuating the hazards several times, to try cleaning the contacts but if there is no change then replace it. In case you want to know, the wires from the brake switch, go up into the turn-signal assembly then out to the tail-lights. To fix it, disconnect the battery, you will need some tools. A steering wheel puller, a steering shaft compression tool, 1/2" drive ratchet, metric sockets, cir-clip pliers, a couple of small picks, #2 philips head screwdriver, and some torque-head screwdrivers. carefully pull off the horn cover( may have a couple of scews holding it from the other side), unplug the horn wire (push and twist), remove the cir-clip, remove the nut, mark the area where the steering wheel and shaft meet (use white-out), press off the steering wheel, Compess the shaft, remove the retaining clip(with the picks), remove horn spinner base, remove turn-signal assembly. I need to step back alittle bit, the plug, to the turn-signal, is half-way down the steering column, to unplug it you need to remove the lower dash panel, the bolts holding the column up inplace. The plug is in clear sight but the wiring harness is inside a plastic sheath, you'll see what I'm talking about.
