their is no drain plug you have to remove the bottom hose to drain system ,after flushing make sure you put back a 50% antifreeze solution ,do not use only water as it corrodes the inside of the engine and i know their are some very inteligent people out their who have learnt everything their is to know about cars from the bar room know it alls ,Summer is coming and you done need antifreeze ect and blah blah but you do need it all year round
Try turning the ignition switch on and off if it seems to start faster then the switch has a bad/burnt spot in it. This just happens. it can be repaired , but not by a novice. there are springs and ball bearings in it that tend to fly out. the switch is located under thew dash mounted to the steering column. This is not hard to replace.

take a volt meter and set is to the DC mode. Take the probes and attach them to the battery. Red on Red (+) and black on black (-) If you receive 13.5 volts you have a good altenator it seems but wait.. Reverse the probes by lack on red and red on black. If you get a reading of any voltage the diode is bad that will prevent the battery of receiving any kind of a charge.
ALL OF THIS TESTING IS DONE WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING
