I had that exact code a couple weeks ago. Mine needed new oxygen sensors. They(there are 2, only one was throwing a code, but I had both replaced) cost a little over $100 to have replaced.
They run in 3 year pairs on almost any vehicle. 2000-2003 or 05-07. I recommend same model like montana. Otherwise the bolt pattern or balancer may be a tad different. You can always measure the bolt pattern. If you can find a venture with the same motor size, then you may be in luck.
Check in your radiator if you don't have transmission fluid in it. And pull the tranny dip stick to see if you don't have water or foam on it. There is a tranny cooler coil inside the radiator to help keep the tranny oil cool. You may have this leaking into the water, if this is the case and you don't take care of it fast it will ruin the tranny too.
