Of you seen any brake fluid when changing pads the the leak needs to be addressed and brakes need to be bled out of any possible air in system. If this was a problem before then you have a bad master cylinder or brake booster.
Check to see if the brake light problem might be caused by the parking brake, rather than the brake fluid.
Also, find a mechanic that can tell you if your computer needs to be reset with the changes you have already made.
God bless your efforts.
check brake fluid level and make sure no leaks if low fill to proper level and check brakes it low change them as to esc when tires were changed workers may have hit sensor or damaged wiring by front end or a bad sensor sometimes rarely some hhr owners state a hiccup and reset the computer and it was fine but before you do that check and make sure brake system is correct and safe usually brake resets itself when repair or fluid is corrected
there is no resetting of the ABS light. it means there is a problem somewhere in the ABS system. There are sensors by each wheel - they seem to be sensitive to moisture - they may have failed for the ABS sensors. the traction control light may be related to the ABS light. just check it out ! make sure there are no brake fluid leaks at the wheels, and be sure master cylinder is full of brake fluid. In most cases a scan tool is necessary to access the stored fault codes. good-day !
Try re-bleeding ALL wheels starting with furthest away - pass rear, then driv rear, then pass front and driv front. That should get your pedal back. To reset light you need ABS reset tool and it's EXPENSIVE. Have a good competent shop reset it for you. Body shops can reset them also.
will try to help.the shaking during braking may be a warped brake rotor, shaking while driving is in the wheel alignment. you have several issues to deal with.as far as the engine light flashing, check all your fluid levels in the engine. oil,low coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid. top off fluids as needed. you can reset that engine light by disconnecting the positive cable from the battery for 10mins.this will reset the cars computer. but if you have a sensor or other issues, that light will come back on.the only way to know for sure is to have it code read a garage or dealership will be able to plug it in to get the codes for you.hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com
This is normal and you need to keep pumping the brakes till they reset there self. Once the brake peddle have reset there self and is firm, check the brake fluid level again and add brake fluid if low. After brakes have reset there self, go for a test drive around the block and check the parking brakes. Good luck.
