You need to determine if the ETC Failsafe is from a
bad throttle body motor (TACM) or coil misfires that are
putting it into failsafe.

The TPS Sensor you replaced, wasn't likely the issue.

Put in new spark plugs
The champion 1 piece ones 7989-- from Napa CHA 7989

You will need the Lisle 65600 Broken Spark Plug Remover Tool
as you will get a couple OEM 2 piece glued together ones break.

Remove PCM from fire wall to get to #4 Plug on pass side

Change the front O2 Sensors at 100,000 miles & clean the MAF
Sensor & Clean the Throttle Plate again.

I was told by my Ford Service Department that my Intake and Throttle Body needs cleaning...How can I do that?

Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body as well as the electrical connectors for the throttle position sensor and the idle speed control solenoid then disconnect the plastic air intake duct, remove the four bolts securing the throttle body assembly to the intake manifold and remove it.
Clean it out using an old toothbrush and a can of throttlebody and air intake cleaner , then reinstall it by reversing the steps above.

2006 expedition hesitating during low speed excelleration

Try cleaning the throttle body with throttle body cleaner. Remove intake hose at throttle end. Spray cleaner on butterfly and open throttle by hand, spray inside throttle body and let the build up run back out. Wipe clean with clean dry cloth, and repeat. It will be hard to start after putting back on, but it will start with 5-6 engine turns. It's the cleaner in the throttle. The injectors ca be cleaned with them in, they will run clean the fuel system. I usually buy Lucas injector cleaner and add 109 octane booster from wal-mart or your local parts store. Lucas is wonderful and the booster will clean your system. A lot cheaper than a shop cleaning it.

I replaced the TPS and IAC in my 97 ford expedition but the rpm still bounces. any ideas?

Not knowing what engine etc, a good place to start would be to give the inside of the throttle body a good cleaning especially around front plate area with throttle body spray cleaner, as well as listen and look for possible crack or break in any vacuum lines, or loose nuts/bolts at throttle body and area.
