Typical american i assume here ,sue everybody in sight ?? Well the fault is most likely caused by the connector block under the front seats ,make sure their is no rubbish under the front seats and then disconnect the connector and clean the contact pins with a soft B black lead pencil and then try that ,if that doesnt work then remove the seat and clean the pins in the connection on the pyrotechnic attachment at the bottom of the seat belt anchor .This is around 60% or so all the faults i get associated with airbag lights ,dirty connections under the seat or empty coke cans and water bottles pulling the plugs out
I received a recall letter from Toyota about a month ago. The problem is a cable breaking in the steering column. Toyota will fix it free.
