BACK BRAKE LIGHTS DONT WORK REPLACED BULBS-NOT THE PROBLEM AND LIGHT STILL ON INSIDE LETTING ME KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG-PEOPLE KEEP PULLING UP TO ME AND SAYING YOUR BRAKE LIGHTS DONT COME ON-HELP
Try checking the switch located on the pedal it will be a bit of a tight place so if you have a work light and a mirror your in good shape check up at close to the top of the pedal there should be a small switch that should be attached to a part of the firewall it probably has come off there should be a little slide on clip or a screw to attach it . if the switch has come off make sure it works before you put it back on if it is in place and not broken then check your fuse for the brake/tail/turn light not sure if all on same fuse try the fuse first
Check the trunk wire harness right by the left side trunk lid hinge for broken wires. This is a common problem on these cars. If the wires are broken you will have to repair them. The best way is to add short lengths of wires to the breaks and solder them back together. Use electrical tape to recover the harness.
