Wipers do not require a relay. If your wipers are not functioning and a fuse is blown, the washer will not work either. If the washer works, check the wiper switch or the wiper motor, but wiper motors are normally very reliable.

the wipers work on high only not on low or intermitant washer works fine I changed the wiper motor still only working on high

The wiper switch is faulty. The low and intermittent contacts are not working. You will need to replace the wiper switch. It may be possible to open it and try a repair but with all the little contacts and springs inside, it is hardly worth the effort.

The '92 Ranger has a intermittent relay.
It is under the dash, in the middle.
Pull the steering column trim and brace plate.
The brace bar will have to be moved out of the way to pull the bracket all the way out.

What is the relay location in the relay box

The problem would be in the stalk controller. The wiper Relay is what provides power to the motor for all settings, the delayed wipers, low speed, and high speed. There are not 3 relays, but 1 for all functions. If you have power to the high setting, the relay is working.

Windshield wipers only work on high on 98 ford ranger

Try replacing relay for wiper with another same relay from fuse block from another working accessory.Had same issue on friends Ford Ranger. Moved relays and cleaned harness connection at fuse block. Works fine.

2002 ford ranger wiper problem replaced wiper motor switch and relays still want work

Check for blown fuses or go outside and turn the wiper on and see if you can hear the wipers trying to move.  The bushings under the wiper arm might be stripped or not properly aligned.  You might have a short somewhere also.  Electrical problems can get expensive.

Wipers do not work in intermittent position. They do work in low and high speeds but do not automatically return to the park position. They stop wherever you turn the switch off.

i belive that your wiper switch has gone out on the intermittent side. this is a very common problem.
I hope this helps you
Thanks

Winshield Wipers don't work

It is probably the relay. They are not very expensive. I would not try to rig this if you can avoid it. It leads to a risk of fire when people try to wire around the existing system.

Call your parts store and get a price quote on the relay. You will need to tell them if you have delay wipers or not.
