Well the brake light and turn signal circuits are on two different fuses, but they both go thru the turn signal switch. So I would start by checking for power in and out of the turn signal switch for each circuit.
Check the Brake peddle switch, or the turn signal switch ( all the lights go through the turn sig switch ) Or check the brake light fuse. Make sure the lights are not burned out by chance also.
near your fuses, in the fuse panel you will find a silver/grey colored, often round thing, this is called a "flasher" this is probably your problem, replace the "flasher"
