Hello, my 2004 quest with 53,000 miles suddenly started to buck and sputter when I come to a stop. Prior to this there was no warning of a problem. When the car is not in gear it still runs rough so I do not think it is transmission related. When accelerating though the van shifts hard from first to second. At mid to high speeds the van runs fine.
Thanks for your help,
Chris
I believe there can be a problem with the ignition coil or maybe the fuel injectors or lastly the catalytic converter I have the same problem with my 2004 Nissan car so my mechanic change all of these parts

I have the same problem - about 88,000 miles. Suddenly had a rough idle and tempermental start.
The mechanic says the 6th cylinder is not working and can't figure out why. Thinks it is the computer.....
I'm looking for suggestions from anyone else who may have experienced this with their 2004 Quest.
My car has the same problem it can be the ignition coils or the fuel injectors
