2003 Chevy S10 Brake lights don't work
Checked switch and fuses and light bulbs. Everything checks fine individually. Lights work fine using the hazard light switch. Can also hear relays clicking when depressing the brake pedal but stop lights just don;t work

Most of the time the problem is in the turn signal switch. The third brake light circuit bypasses the turn signals.
Someone would need to check brake light power in and out of the turn signal switch.
If there are no brake lights period the check the stop switch (brake light switch)
This is attached to the upper part of the brake pedal itself. Should be a little wire off of it. When that goes bad the brake lights will not work at all.
Please note that the fuse for "brakes" is ABS only and has no bearing on the brake lights themselves working.
I've worked on these the first drove me crazy. its the turn signal switch every thing runs thru these. head lights, turn signal, brakes. except the third brake light. it runs directly from the brake switch. go figuare
