I have a 2006 Pontiac Vibe. The AC went out. When I took it to a repair shop, the guy told me that it looked like debris was puncturing the condensor. After 1 hot summer and spending $600 to replace the condensor; Summer is back and my AC no longer works! The condensor is bad again! Why? Because debris keep puncturing it! It's a manufacturing issue that needs to be resolved! What can I do about it?

My experience with A/C Condensors is that you can take it to a Radiator Shop that welds aluminum and they can repair it by welding the hole closed. I had it done twice on my truck's condensor and it works great. To try and resolve the problem you can put some fine mesh screen in front of the condensor to keep debris from puncturing it.

2006 Pontiac Vibe won't start - It appears NOT to be the battery or a bad neutral switch. What else should I try?

If you disconnect the battery, you need to reset the security system. You need to find out why it didn't start when you came out of the store though, and for that you need an auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer.

Pontiac Vibe roof rust perforations

We also have a 2006 Pontiac Vibe and have had not had any problems with the paint or rust. If you bought it new, take it back to the dealership and find out why this has happened. Otherwise, take it to 3 to 5 body shops and get estimates as to the cost of repair. If you plan to keep the car, get the best possible job done, but if you plan to sell it in the next few years then just do enough to get by.

2006 Pontiac Vibe Blower Motor not working

I have a 2004 Vibe that had a similar problem. The blower fan switch uses a circuit board down near the firewall inside the car. Small hands are required but just two screws hold it in.You can get them at Toyota cheaper than GM.

Tried to check oil level on 2006 pontiac vibe. Took out dipstick and tube broke from block.

Was it just the mounting tab that broke? If so you can take it to a welding shop and have them weld it back on.
