I have a 2008 Avenger R/T. About a month ago, I tried to start it and the starter just clicked, not turning engine over. I jumped it and it started and it has started ever since. HOWEVER, the check engine light came on after the jump start and now my remote starter won't work either. THANKS in advance!

check your key remote if it is not programmed the alarm will go into the kill switch mode and will not allow you to start your engine Having the same trouble with one of my keys I haven't found a way to reprogram it without calling dealer and paying a chunk.

It could possibly be the starter, but before you get that far make sure the Battery cables are connected very tight. If loose the car won't start or do anything. Also make sure the battery cable is grounded.

starter wont click because there's not enough "juice" to turn it over. this isnt because of the battery as you have just replaced it. it is due to a bad alternator recharging the battery as you drive. if it were only a fuse it would be the solenoid in the starter. but if it had started after you installed the battery then its not the solenoid. solution: buy a refurbished alternator and

seems your battery has already been discharged by the fog lamp! recharge or buy a new one, but you should fix first the fog lamp before hooking your battery! check for stuck -up relay!
