Where is the AC fitting to install freon on my 2001 jaguar s type 3.0 V6?

You can't, buy a model that has a V8 engine.

Follow below for the V6 Engine...

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

1. Remove and discard the drivebelt tensioner clip (if fitted).
2. Remove the accessory drive belt.

1. Rotate the belt tensioner counter-clockwise.

• Use a 3/8 inch square drive bar to rotate the belt tensioner.

1. Remove the belt.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

the firing order is--1-4-2-5-3-6, #1 is left front facing engine. jaguar x-type 2.5 DOHC V-6. have a good day !!

its possible but a hard job, you need also instal an engine control and harness for autom. transm.

The port is right at the top of the compressor. But If you are asking where it is, you surely are not qualified and you should not attempt to "charge up" the a/c. Severe damage to the a/c system may result.

the inlet vavle is the tube with the big fitting on it usually located on the high side of the system (hot to touch) the canister of freon will only fit on one of the fittings. look against the fire wall of the car and look for the aluminum tubing that comes from the wall that leads to the radiator area you should be able to tell which one is the right one to use.

Check the igniter module.
I assume you have a ecu code telling you #3 coil is missfiring ?
If so also check the crankshaft angle sensor .
If it is not an error code do a compression test and check the injector.

On the V6 its on the back of the block near the left front tire...
