I have a 95 cutlass ciera with no brake pressure. i ran out of fluid, filled it back up and sealed the leak. when i try to pump them with the car off the pedal goes to the floor over and over instead of builing pressure and becoming solid. there are no leaks. do i need to bleed the brakes really good or is something else going on?

Hi, you have to bench bleed it first to get the air out. That done, master bolted on, you will then have to bleed the 4 wheels, till all the air is out........

I do not have any pressure in the brakes after putting a new back calipator but my buddy ran the master cylinder dry

Fix the leak
then use a vacuum on the furthest bleeder to pull the brake fluid
keep the brake fluid filled
do that on all four
if that does not work, good chance you need to replace the seals on the master cylinder.
also check the linkage from brake pedal to master to insure that is ok

Replaced the water pump on a 95 oldsmobile cutlass ciera and there is still a leak

Then the water pump was not the problem? Hook up a cooling system pressure tester and go under the car and watch to see where the coolant is leaking out.

94 Olds Cutlass Ciera S is leaking coolant, where or what would be the most common source of the leak and what can be done to fix it?

The most common leak would be the water pump. Before you replace anything have the cooling system pressure tested by a shop to determine for sure the pump is the problem, replacing it and still having the leak would be an expensive mistake. Have the pressure test run, any shop can do or any radiator repair shop can do it, fairly cheap thing to have done.

Whinning when you turn the wheel. filled the power steering fluid seems to be leaking

Check your hoses first - if cracking replace
Next check your resevoir is the leak coming from where the hose connects to or is the leak coming from the resevoir/pump. If the hoses are good you will need to replace the pump/resevoir. The wineing noise indicates low fluid. Too much fluid would cause foam at the resevoir

So I have a 1995 Olds Cutlass Ciera that leaks power steering Fluid. It winds even when topped off but will work smoothly for a little while and than will be tough. The pump is new and I am wondering what...

Usually there aren't P/S fluid coolers on small pass. cars like this. Your rack & pinion could be leaking, or one of the lines. There is a great deal of pressure involved, up to 1600PSI.
Pressure wash your engine, rack and pinion and lines. Fill up and look carefully where a leak is coming from.

You can fix the whining by bleeding the system - you may either vacuum bleed it or you can manually bleed it, by turning the steering wheel lock - to - lock at least 15 times with the engine OFF - best done with the front wheels off of the ground.

Brake peddle goes all the way to the floor. brake peddle will have pressure when the car is off, but when you turn it on brake peddle loses all pressure. how can i tell if its the master cylinder or the...

first make sure there are no brake fluid leaks, sometimes the steel lines get rotted and start leaking. to test the booster with the engine off pump brake pedal about 10 - 12 times on the last pump hold the brake pedal down and start the car if the booster is good the pedal will drop alittle.

I had brakes checked, they were good. rotated wheels tires ,rear brakes lock up . Could mechanic have damaged cylinders inspecting brakes.

no, but he could have disturbed dust that can cause the brakes to lock. He might have also loosened the adjuster. Take drums off and reinspect for dust, fluid leaks, and adjustment. You could also try backing up and braking several times to let the brakes adjust up tighter.

Fuel pump on '95 cutlass ciera

There should be a pressure regulator in the circuit path to stop the pump once you have the proper pressure.

Leaking engine coolant from bottom of engine front passenger side

Probably a water pump seal unfortunately. Pressurize the system, with the engine off, use a mirror to look under the water pump pulley to see if any fluid is dripping from the water pump seal weep hole.
If it is, change the water pump.
Good luck, let me know.
