The fuel filter is located in the tank and is non servicable you have to replace the entire fuel assembly in tank its 214.99 at autozone that is the price for 4 cylinder model the 6 cylinder model is not servicable either but may cost a diffrect amout
For 2002 Nissan/Datsun Altima 3.5L SFI DOHC 6cyl the Fuel Filter is located: under hood, driver side, rear engine area, passenger side of master cylinder, mounted in fuel line.

The oil filter is located behind the right (passenger) inner fender cover. It is right next to the crankshaft pulley at the bottom of the front of the engine facing toward the right front wheel. I do not have a picture at this time.

Most of the time there is an inlet screen/filter in fuel tank attached to fuel pump. But there should be another filter between tank and fuel rail. it should be located on the firewall, so if you work backward from an injector toward the gas tank you will bump right in to the filter along the way.

filter is inside of the fuel tank and its a part of the fuel pump assembly. you need to remove the bottom section of the rear seat via 2 clips at the bottom of th eseat.you need a special tool to remove the lock ring on the top of the fuel tank. you wil also need a new o-ring to close itback up. the whole pump assembly has to come out and disassembled to replace flter. good luck.
