03 tahoe pcm 1 fuse keeps blowing after electrical surge while driving

bogus post, fuse told ,is not correct name and now told not it is not blowing,(ouch)
5.3L V8 , now told, ( this fact puts you into the right chapter of the service manual for sure electrics..)
bogus post#2, fuse PCM-B are not blowing but why are you talking about it at all.?? sure other posts else where? guessing?

stop listening to other guessing what is wrong,
all we know is 12vdc power surge, of some kind,
if you looked at the drawings the things that can fail here are huge(vast). I invite you to read the service manual.
yes fuel pumps do short, want to see a pro Duane on youtube , and his scope showing bad commutator segments of a fuel pump?
huge current spikes, sure but that is a guess. (the video is how to find things going bad before they hard fail dead)

so not told , is engine still dead, ? cranks but does not start, , and did you know dead is the most easy failure of all
to find, safe and sound, not moving and dead is easy to test. (like no spark or fuel pressure dead, etc)
hard jobs are failing moving
or is intermittent.
or only in 3 gear
or only up hill.
or only in left turns. (add endless list here) but the point is made.

dead is bliss in my book , and simple tests find out why.
no voltmeter
no scan tool?(real)
no tools at all?
redux #1 (new truths)

2002 chevy trailblazer and it will not crank or start and the key has gotten stuck in the ignition. I also got a jumpstart and it still didn't start. What is wrong, Please?

Could be a number of thing's , can you do automotive electrical testing ? Do you know if starting is PCM / ECM controlled or BCM controlled ? Do you know what these are ? BCM - body control module , PCM/ECM - engine computer !
Moving the ignition switch to the START position sends a 12-volt signal to the engine control module (ECM)/powertrain control module (PCM) Crank Request circuit. The ECM/PCM verifies that the transmission is in the PARK or NEUTRAL position. With the transmission in Park, voltage flows through the Park/Neutral position switch and feeds the starter relay coil. The PCM then grounds the control circuit of the starter relay. When the starter relay is energized it allows battery positive voltage to the starter solenoid S terminal. On some vehicles the starter will continue to crank the engine with the key released until it starts or the crank command has timed out to prevent excessive heat build up in the starter circuitry or the ECM/PCM receives an engine run flag.
Circuit Description (BCM Controlled)
Moving the ignition to the START position signals the body control module (BCM) that engine crank has been requested. The BCM verifies that theft is not active and sends a serial data message to the powertrain control module (PCM) requesting engine start. The BCM also energizes the RUN/CRANK RELAY. When the RUN/CRANK RELAY switch side closes, and the vehicle is in Park or Neutral or with the clutch is fully depressed, if equipped, supplies voltage to the starter relay coil. The PCM verifies the transmission is in Park or Neutral and the clutch is fully depressed, if equipped. The PCM will then ground the control circuit of the starter relay, closing the switch supplying voltage to the starter solenoid. On some vehicles the starter will continue to crank the engine with the key released until it starts of the crank command has timed out to prevent excessive heat build up in the starter circuitry or the PCM receives an engine run flag.
Do you know what a park neutral safety switch is ? What do you mean key stuck in ignition ? Can't turn the key to off position , or you can an the key will not come out ?
Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop .

Can shift solenoid cause engine to crank no start ? Or can safety neutral switch cause key stuck in on position and no start will crank in 2003 trailblazer.

No, It can not do that, Any of the solenoids in the truck will prevent it from cranking. I would suggest checking the fuel pump. its simple to check, Have someone turn the ignition key on until the dash lights light up. (do not crank the engine). When they do that, you need to get your ear as close as possible to the fuel tank. You are listening for a whineing sound. It will whine for about 2 seconds only, this is normal and means the fuel pump is working. If you hear nothing.... the pump has failed.

Need to reset the PCM on my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer .How do i do it?

Disconnect the NEGATIVE battery cable from the battery... Hold it or position to the POSITIVE battery cable for about 5 minutes. Also make sure you leave the key in the ON position (Do not have the engine running) and this will clear the memory on all computers/modules in the truck.

2004 trailblazer problems

Check for OBD2 codes, primarily a code indicating PCM memory is corrupt. My Trailblazer at times wouldn't turn over and start. Nothing at the key. When you attempt to start the vehicle and you turn the key to the start position, the PCM sends a signal to the starter relay to start the engine. Youtube video showed a mechanic warming the PCM with a hair dryer, and it would start. Tried it on mine and it started fine. If it is the PCM, the remedy is PCM replacement. Got mine from pcmforless.com about $100.00. They had to program the new PCM with the vehicle vin number. Once installed no more problems.

Wont start is a voltage regulator on the isuzu axiom that would keep from starting

No. Check of faulted PCM. With car off, turn key to ignition ON, and do not crank. Look for check engine light to flash. If it does not, PCM is faulty. Also, possible crank position sensor or cam position sensor failed. The PCM needs to verify a certain number of RPM before the fuel pump will turn on.

I have a 2004 trailblazer key stuck wont start

Check the fuse box. There should be something that tells what amp fuse #22 is. You may have a spare fuse in the box. Worse case scenario, pull a fuse of the same power from something that you don't need and use it til you get the key out. If the fuse keeps giving problems that indicates you need to get something checked out. DO NOT put in a larger amp fuse to get by. Fuses are there for a reason. It is not worth burning a Trailblazer up because of a $3.00 fuse.

Veh wont start

by looking at the wiring diagram for your truck. the pcm1 fuse only feeds the pcm so most likely it is a grounded wire between the fuse block and pcm. follow the wire harness closely between the two and see if its grounded somewhere. also try disconnecting the pcm and see if the fuse still blows. that would isolate the problem to the wiring. it is highly unlikely that the pcm would cause the problem.
