MMY 2003 DTS HAD SAME PROBLEM. REPLACED FRONT COIL PACK AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. LATER #3 CYLINDER STARTED MISSING, REPLACED REAR COIL PACK AND SOLVED PROBLEM HOPE THE HELPS

On the Cadillac on top of the valve covers the should be a cover about 12 inches long and about 2 inches wide.This cover is screwed or bolted in place.Remove that cover and the plugs will be there.

The starter is under the intake manifold. Replace the complete starter. If you go through that much labor, it would be foolish to just replace the solenoid on a 8 year old starter.

1.Change the bulb
2.Fuses

Lower left of engine near oil filter (2).

It sounds like your batery is empty.
Or maybe your start rotor is a bit stuck.
if so give it a hit with a rubber hammer that can help loosen it.

change the air fow senser.

check battery voltage, if battery voltage is ok, you may need to check fuses under hood on passengers side, if start fuse is ok, you may need to have your starter replaced
