Well! investigate first the type of sparkplugs your truck does works with! and get them! find out where are located on your engine, get the proper tool, and if you can reach them with your hands and sight, take them off and put the brand news, learn how to use the tool before before to change them. I don't know the name of this tool on english.
Your job is to investigate this tool and my work is going to the dictionary . Bye. greetings from Mexico

Make sure it is not a door switch. They may seem alright but are known to fail. I'm having issue with mine and found that it was a switch.

I need to change the spark plugs in a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport

I did this two months ago. The upper intake and all attached must come off to get to them. It took me 4.5 hrs with hand tools and the factory service manual.

How do I remove the intake manifold on my 03 montero sport 3.0 ltr? I have to change the plugs and need access. Also will I need to get a new gasket to re-install the intake? I plan on changing the plugs,...

That is all the basic stuff unless you feel you need to change injectors or knock sensor which probably isn't necessary. The intake has about 8 bolts that you can remove after all vacuum lines are disconected. If you would like further detail and illustrations, I suggest go to autozone.com and register for free, then you can view a full free online repair manual
