Have you tried jump starting it with another car? I'd try that first, it could possibly be your battery - RE: lights and radio don't draw anything near what starter & ignition requires. If in doubt pull battery and have any good local parts store "load" test it. Most will do it free.

SOURCE: Car not starting

One item you did not mention is the neutral safety switch. check that and the ignition switch itself. You need to verify that the battery has 12v first and that it can pass a load test. then check for power at the relay and starter trigger wire. (check with a volt meter)
I hate to ask, but you mean that the engine does not turn when you turn the key, correct? And, you can turn the engine by hand? (with key off)

SOURCE: theft light blinking/car won!t start

If you have key numbers on the door, you should enter the code, then immediately start the truck. If this does not work contact the dealer for a sequence to reset the alarm.

SOURCE: lights come on radio works, car will not start. When I turn the ignition on it clicks

Check and clean the battery terminals, just went through this exact same problem myself this week! Google "clean battery terminals" if you have never done this before, pretty easy.

SOURCE: car wont start has power has fuel and starter

The security system is activated. It kills the injector pulse ( signal) and on some modles the starter. You will need to try to relearn the system. First try to start the car, leave the key in the run position for 10 minutes. Cycle the key off, then cycle it to the run position again for 10 more minutes. Cycle it off again, then back to run for another 10 min. after the last cycle turn it off then try to start the car. It is a 30 minute relearn. If this does not work you will need a repair shop to replace the passlock sensor. Good Luck

Testimonial: "it was in the ignition and the security activated i had to replace the whole igintion key and all "

SOURCE: Lights and radio work, car won't start. After it

Could be the starter, but more likely its the battery. The lights and radio take about 10 amps; the starter takes about 200-300 amps. Most likely the battery has reached the end of its life.

Car won't Crank/start

With a voltage meter see how many volts are at the starter terminal. If not 12+ volts you have a bad connection. Check connection at the starter solenoid. Does it have 12+volts? Short the solenoid. Does it put voltage to the starter?

My 2003 Saab 9-5 Aero 4-cyl Turbo Won't start. However, I have power in car, lights windows and radio works. But it won't turn-over. It could be Starter or Starter Relay. I can't find out

Ok, those systems might still work because the not require as much energy as the starter. Check the Battery Voltage with a good Voltmeter. If below 12, there might be your problem!

Just finished driving car, tried to start it back up and nothing happens. Radio works fine, lights come up but car won't start.

if starter is not engaging or clicks then have battery load tested. if battery checks good then test the voltage draw on the starter, may be dragging when it gets hot.

Car won't start, but make clicking noise

Sounds like you might need a new starter. If the lights and radio still come on, then you may need a new battery.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

The car won't start; lights, ac, radio etc come on but car won't turn over or even click; checked battery cables; put different battery in; still won't start

Check the starter and the starter relay or fuse. A client of mines car was doing the same thing, it ended up being two issues, the starter not working anymore, and a relay that was bad. If I am not mistaken everything should be labeled in the fuse box under the hood and will tell you where the fuse/ relay is for your vehicle

I have 1997 buick century and i was stopped at a light and the car inside lights started flashing and the car cut off and would not start back. radio was working and would not take a jump. does nothing...

Check for power at starter solenoid on switch side (purple wire) should have 12-12.6 volts if you have power to the solenoid and it won't do anything then the starter is bad.
