Not sure of the exact location as far as a layout in the fuse box but in my manual it looks like it is in the box inside the engine campartment. In most cases on a toyota the layout and descriptions of the fuses and relays are printed inside the cover you pull off to expose the fuses and relays. I gave you what I had as far as a wiring diagram as well as the location of the relay box. Now the location of the relay box was in the fuel section of the service manual so that's why I figure it's in there. There also seems to be a relay for the injectors as well. I hope this helps and good luck.

Toyota Tacoma fuel problem

Check the following:
- Listen to the fuel pump noise under the fuel tank.
- Starter signal.
- EFI relay, under the hood fuse and relay box.
- Fuel pump operation and pressure.
- Regulating valve.
- Circuit Opening Relay (COR) under the dash.
- Check for open in harness and connector between circuit opening relay and fuel pump, and fuel pump and body ground

Truck shuts off every 15 min

Check the relays in your engine side fues box. Look for the one that operates your IDM and the one that runs your IPR. Could just be a weak realy and it could also be a bad connection at your IPR. these are quick easy checks. You may have a fuel relay kicking out as well check for fuel related relays and also your fuel pump pressure. I have seen the pumps work but drop below the normal pressures needed to keep the truck running.

"when the fuel pump kicks....it makes a very short duration sound....you can hear it....but in seconds it will be gone......as gasoline has made its way to the engine.........

if you cant hear any noise from the fuel pump......it could be that the fuel pump realy is bad........if you happen to change the relay....and it still does not work.....then it is the fuel pump. that is fried.......

about the water.....i am not shure......unless there was water in the gasoline itself....or somebody put water in there in purpose....

hope this helps...

the fuel pump should make a wineing noise when the key is on
but just because its not running its not necessarily a bad pump
check the fuse and the relay and make shure you have power getting to the pump before you replace the pump

whater in the fuel can come from any number of places condensation in the tank, bad fuel from the station.
