I drove home from my girlfriends house today and none of my guages worked on my 2004 bonneville....wondering if it could be a fuse or whatnot

Same thing happened to my 93 SSE ..My entire dashboard is out,accept for the speedo and tach..It must be a instrument cluster,relay/fuse ....I find it odd all gauages [and drivers info/compass center] went out at the same time...

Bad instrument cluster GM has had a lot of problems with there instrument clusters.

have the battery load tested as it appears that there is a dead cell. Most batteries need a reserve of 75% to spin the motor and any thing less indicates as a flat battery ( clicking from the starter solenoid)

CAR WONT START

CKP sensor or cam sensor. one goes bad and causes other to go bad. easy fix and not too expensive.

you might need a major tune-up...
and all the oil changes...
change the transmission and check if that works...
if after doing everything that i told you doesn't work...
then you might have a transmission problem!
so good luck!

A bad ground from the battery. Clean battery cables and replace bolts, check alternator for output.

If I remember correctly, the serpentine belt change on this motor can be quite involved. It may require the battery being disconnected to avoid shorting out cables. Check for loose battery cables especially on the negative side where it is secured to the engine block.

Check and make sure that both battery connections have a SOLID connection...Make sure they are both clean...If they are not clean take them off and simply take a wire brush to them...If this does not work consult someone else
