This noise could be cause from the door lock actuator. If this is the Problem it will need replacement. But in most cases if the actuator is faulty the locks will jump, and not always lock on that door.

Sounds like the electric motor that controls the lock arm is possibly sticking and grinding on itself causing the buzzing noise. Or it could be something inside the panel has created an issue for the arm and motor to move freely.
If you go to this site: http://www.kiatechinfo.com you may be able to find a way to remove the door panel and check out the function of the lock. I'd give it a look see before you take it to a shop, it could be something simple. Replacing the entire lock would probably get a little on the expensive side.
The linkages or inside the door panel may have come off on the door lock. The best way to check the problem is to remove the panels and simulate the locking of the doors. You should see if there are parts that may have come off or had loosened up.
the lock actuator is going out. worse case scenario is you will have to lock it manually or replace the lock actuator inside the door panel. it may still be under warranty. call them and have the vin ready and they can look in their data base. if they prove to be unhelpful, please feel free to e-mail me and i will call. dirty solonoid inside the door ,take door panel off and give everything in sight a good oil with a proper oil can with engine oil in it ,also check the mechanism from the barrel to the electrical switch because a bit of plastic could have broken off where it turns to operate the switch that works the central door locking
