What is the size socket required for a 2012 Ford Fusion Axle nut? Also, what is the Torque spec to secure it back on? Working with Front-Right wheel.

The one that fits!

That's not the way it works. you buy a socket set. It has one set of AF Sockets and one set of Metric sockets. The one you use is the one that fits.

Torque spec for rear pinion nut on a 1989 GMC pickup, 2WD. 8.5 ring gear

I don't know but if there is one it shouldn't be too difficult to find.

Some axles have a torque figure and the bearing preload is adjusted by graduated spacers or shims but some axles use a single use collapsible spacer and the pinion nut must be tightened until the correct bearing preload is reached.
Carrying out work on that type of axle that doesn't require the axle to be dismantled such as replacing the pinion oil seal means the nut should be marked prior to removal and returned to that position - plus a gnat's wotsit, so the pinion bearing preload limit isn't exceeded.

I suggest you discover the type of axle you have before you begin work.

Front Skf hub bearing torque spec 2003 dodge ram 2500 turbo diesel

Tighten the spindle nut to 149 ft-lbs to seat the bearing then
. rotate the axle 5 to 10 times to seat the hub bearing, then
tighten the spindle nut to a final torque of 263 ft-lbs I would just use a good impact gun to get it there.

I need the torque specs on a rear axle pinion nut for a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4/4 Cummins, Automatic.

The pinion nut does not have a torque spec. as in how tight the nut is. The amount of torque is measured in bearing preload. You will need a "torque to rotate" torque wrench. If you are using new bearings the torque spec. is 15-25 in. lbs. If you are using your old bearings the torque spec. is 10-20 in. lbs to rotate. To measure this you will need to tighten the nut in small increments then use the torque to rotate wrench to turn the pinion without the carrier/ ring gear installed. Repeat until desired torque is reached.

Replaced rear axle pinion bearing and seal, need to know pinion nut torque spec. for aam rear axle 2005 dodge 3500 4x4 Thanks.

There is no torque specs, this nut has to be tightened back like it was ,the best thing to do,was,to late now,is to use a torque wrench to remove the nut,and remember the torque, and when replacing it,torque it back to that spec, the reason being, there is a crush sleeve between the front pion bearing ,and the rear pinion bearing, and it has to be crushed to a certain amount,to aquire deepness into the ring gear, anyway just give it about 25 lbs torque, any more the crush sleeve will crush even more and the deepness of the pinion will be too much.
