I require the unlocking code for my Volvo C70 Radio. I have a series of numbers from the radio which I believe mudt be the serial number. How can I get the code without going to a Volvo dealership?

Pull the radio out and it should be be a four digit number on the top of the radio but here's the trip, if your radio says OFF, you would need to put your key in the ignition, turn the key to the first line position (this should not turn the car or lights on at all), and wait for at least 2 hrs, then the when the radio says "CODE" that is when you would enter the code. That is what I was advised by the Volve dealer. The first time I entered the wrong code and I had to re-do the reset another 2 hrs and then it worked.
