For the 2.4L, Every 6000 per manual under normal conditions. To reset "change oil' indicator, turn ignition key to on, fully press gas pedal 3 times, turn key to off position and remove key. Next time you start the car, the 'change oil' indicator should be gone.

hopefully your car is still under warranty....you need to plug the vehicle in to a computer to retreive the code which will point u in the right direction.

you can use 20w50 providing the ambient temperature is above 10 degrees c. However it will not stop oil loss. Only fixing the leak will do that

As far as I know there is no gear oil to change on most front wheel drive cars with and automatic. If you are changing the transmission fluid make sure you put the right stuff back in it. Chrysler has there own fluid specs. If it has a manual transmission the the differential is built into the transaxel and there should be just the one gearcase. There again make sure you use the right oil check the owners manual.

2.7 ? This motor has oil problems if not changed every 3000 miles. Put a chrysler filter on it and the correct weight of oil, never use a fram oil filter.

Could be a bad oil pressure switch, or a bad oil pump. Both will cause this issue. Hope it is the switch b/c the oil pump is a costly repair.
