Changed the plugs and wires in 99 rover disc 2. As soon as I tried to start it the hazards started flashing and it wont start (it turns over but wont start). Ran ok before I changed the plugs and wires just had a ark to the manifold so I changed it and now wont start.

the engine (there are more than one engine) has a distributor. "have spark at coil down to dizzy but no spark at plugs" this can mean only 2 things. 1: spark wires are dead. all 4, kinda hard to believe huh? 2: the dizzy is way off time. so time the dizzy and now spark lands on each wire term. if not a dizzy engine, post exact version of engine and country.
Since there are two separate problems that occurred during the battery transition, try as we may, we all make mistakes. Go over the wires that you soldered again. I know you already did that but look for two wired similar. But with one difference. More aptly...a green wire with a black tracer, and a black wire with a green tracer. Or a similar scenario. It's a subtle difference. But the old adage of killing two birds with one stone. Probe the wires with the ignition off to see which one has constant power (going to the hazards) and look for it's counterpart.
sounds like u have a wireing problem what happens when its cold your wires r normal when heated they expand so it wont start till the wire goes back to normal check wires comeing from the battery to the starter could be loose r cracked
It is possible that this Range Rover is misfiring and needs a change of sparkplugs if it is screatching it is trying to start but cannot due to misfiring. If the plugs are good check the gapping on each pluf.
this sounds like you have a problem with the electric fuel pump sticking, that would be where i would look, when u turn the key on with the windows up do u hear a humming noise for about 3 seconds? if not the fuel pump is the problem.
