Your horn is hooked to a relay. The relay is activated by the ground wire that comes from the horn button. If the fuse is ok then you need to check the relay and the horn switch. You may have a dead relay or a bad contact from the switch.
Hope this helps... Dale

Find were the horn is and using a test light check for power at the wire that connects to the horn when someone is pushing on the horn button.if it lights up then you will need a horn.if it doesn`t then you will need to check the horn relay.if when you push on the horn button and you hear a clicking then the relay is more than likely good.if you have a clicking and no power to the horn then the output side of the relay may not be working or the horn wire may be damaged.i think you`ll find the horn is bad.

SOURCE: My horn stopped working. I checked the fuse, it

The horn is generally located underneath the most front lower vehicle undercarriage either on the right or left side towards the wheel well splash guard area, bolted to the forward engine frame chassis. This is not seen from under the hood look usually. You must lay down on your back with a flashlight and look up. Should you find it, examine it to see if it is rusty. If so, replace it. If not, pull each connector out to examine for corroided connectors. If that is present, you should push and pull the connector on and off several times and then put some di-electric grease in the plug and plug them in. Tom H.

SOURCE: horn will not work, I

If you ground out one or the other of the 2 terminals with a test light, the horn should sound.
If not, then the horn is bad, or there is no current going to it.

2013 gmc terrain horn doesn't work

It could be several things, always check the fuse first. There is on for the horns. Stuff can also get in horns and jam the part that vibrates and makes the noise, horns can also just freeze up due to bad manufacturing,. If there is corrosion on the connectors of the wires that will interrupt the electrical connection, if none of that is present and the wires look fine, the wires could be smashed and unnoticeably so. Try tapping the horns with something metal while someone is pressing the button, if still no sound replace the wires for the horn. Or, if all that is too much after checking the fuse, take it to the dealer.

My horn no longer works. 2007 Mercury Mountaineer

See if you can find the horn under the hood, un-plug the connection , check for voltage with a test light, should light when you press the horn button, Most vehicles have two horns , sounds like your horn relay or a fuse . you can check for a blown fuse first. Good luck!

My horn on my 2006 pt cruiser makes a low hushing sound instead of hunking. Where is the fuse box and fuse located to replace.

Would check horn unit because if it making a sound means fuse and horn button are working your horn might have picked up muck or snow

Horn do not work what is the problem in honda civic ex 2000

if the fuse and relay is fine then check the horn itself. with someone pushing on the horn button check for power at the wire on the horn you should have power if not it could be a broken wire from the horn back to the relay. also check to make sure the horn has a good ground. if you do have power chances are the horn itself needs replacing. sometimes the horn pad goes bad, but that rarely happens.

My 1995 Isuzu Rodeo new horn won't work

there are 2 horns that have different frequencies so that you get a louder harmonious noise when you activate the horn
now you have blown the fuse or the relay is no longer working

you must check the contact switch on the steer wheel.

Horn broken. Not the fuse.

It depends on if the relay makes a clicking sound. This will help you figure out your problem. Everything between the horn button and relay is good if it makes a solid click sound when you press the horn button. So then the problem is in the power side of the circuit. Usually the relay contacts or horn.
And then if there is no click that means the problem is on the control side. Which is the steering-column wiring or horn buttons!
