Make sure you haven't connected a positive and negative wire together leaving the power no where to go, shorting your dash lights

Most likely you have the ground wire on the radio unit hoked to the dash light wire, we see this all the time when you were testing the wires to find the ground wire the dash light wire will test as a ground wire if the head lights are off.

1998 chevy s10 Head unit and dash display not working

You may have damaged the instrument cluster. The PCM has to receive a code from the instrument panel to start. Its part of the security system. Beyond checking fuses you are going to have to take it to a qualified mechanic with the proper diagnostic equipment. It sounds like you wired something incorrectly

Where is head light relay on 02 dodge dakota

Please tell me the problem with the lights as this year doesn't have any headlight relay, The most common problem is that the headlight switch gets hot and burns out along with the connector to it, both must be replaced as one repair. Solder and shrink tube the new headlight switch connector on, DO NOT use "crimp" connectors or the problem will occur again very quickly. The dash panel that is over the switch is easy to remove, just remove lower dash panel and then main panel screws and it comes right off.

Dash lights dont work on my 97 blazer

All lights, or just your illumination lights? Illumination: bulbs need replacing. All lights; SERIOUS problem. There is a dash panel fuse on car. check that. Has anyone done any work recently under dash( like installing a radio)? May be they accidentally pulled a connector loose behind dash. Need to pull your instrument cluster to check that. Usually two big connectors with lots of wires going to back of instrument cluster. If no power at all with key on: check under hood at power distribution center for a main big fuse out.

93 crown vic turn signals dont work but every other light works. Already checked every fuse under hood and steering wheel and they still dont work.

it is most likely the turn signal flasher unit is faulty & needs to be replaced, you should find it under the dash on the drivers side it could be a square or round unit with a connector plug on the top, when you remove the connector plug the unit has three terminals on it.......hope this helps......cheers.

I was hooking up my stereo and my dome lights dont work when i try to turn them on and i looked a all the fuses and still dont know whats going on

Did you use the factory ground when you installed the stereo? If you did thats your problem, the factory grounds on dodges act really weird, ground your stereo directly to the chassis (metal dash support under the dash) your problem will likely go away.
