Take it to mechanic and have it repaired. Or go to your local auto supply store and look for a Chilton and it will have detailed instructions on how to do it yourself. If you do it the DIY route and hit any snags come back here and get some help but Chiltons is VERY thorough.

Which evap valve ? Purge valve or vent valve ? Purge valve is mounted to the intake or engine & vent valve is located near the fuel tank with the evap charcoal canister .
