I have a 2007 Corolla LE. With my DRL, front lights are working but the rear ones just turned off. I checked all four bulbs, they are working fine when brakes are applied during the day and night when the lights are on.

Daytime Running Lights (DRL) feature only activates the front low beam headlights. The rear parking light are not turned on by the DRL, they only come on in dark conditions or by selecting the light manually.

2009 Fiat 500. Yellow triangle on dash 'check running lights', but both running lights are working?

This appears to be a well known issue. I found this

Solved maybe
.
I had the same issue when i changed one of the Daylight Running Lights in the front and one of my rear brake lamps.
I ended up changed both brake lamps since its a two pack, the front lights all looked well.
The rear, one was off even if i changed both.
I was puzzled but then tried to turn off my DRL from the menu section on the front panel which didn't work.
Opened the brake lamps and checked them again and they all worked.
I reset my error codes (check your manufacturer book) mine was 5 pumps with engine off then key out and then engine on.
The "check running lights" code disappeared as well. Make sure to check all your lights are on(front back.
Hope that works for one of you at least!

and also

I has the exact same issue. DRL going out when headlamps turned on. I found the problem. It's a simple fix.

It was a bad connection between the bulb and the bulb holder. I noticed wiggling the bulb made it come on and off.

The fix is to bend the exposed wires on the bulb so that they stand proud rather than squashed flat against the bulb.

I did it by gently prizing them away from the bulb and then I put a small screw driver underneath it and pressed the wire back down again. You could use a cocktail stick or march stick or similar.

This makes the contact between the bulb and the holder tighter. Job done.

Lots more here.

Passenger side front turn signal/DRL do not work.

Dear Alex,
The problem is in the bulb, or the socket, or the wiring to these.
Whenever a turn signal flashes fast, know that one of the bulbs is not working.
You have already identified the problem as being the front one. Problem could be the hot wire, or the ground wire, or the ground connection to this bulb.
Start by taking a tester to the hot wire, and see if it is receiving electrical impulses when the turn signal is on.
( It probably is, unless the car has been in a wreck and has been improperly repaired.)
Then check the socket or the wires to is and see if the bulb is grounded.
I suspect the ground is defective, and either a new socket or a repair to the ground wire should fix you rights up.
God bless your efforts.

My right front turn signal doesn't work, I have replaced the bulb the right rear works fine

You would check the socket with a test light or meter to see if you have power and ground. If no power, the turn signal switch would be the next thing to check.

What is the DRL warning light on the dashboard of my 2007 Honda CRV?

On my 2007 Honda CR-V The DRL code appeared on the dash board. Additionally I had only one high beam (on the passenger side); both low beams were fine, but I did not have a Daytime Running Light on the drivers side. The DRL code was really misleading because the real problem was that the high beam element in the headlight bulb was burned out. Note that the daytime running light is not a seperate bulb -- it is the high beam element which is powered at a low voltage. Once I replaced the head light bulb everything worked fine and the DRL code on the dash board was gone. So if the DRL message appears what you really need to do is replace the headlight bulb (there are YouTube videos which show how to do this - but search for headlight replacement, not for DRL fix). Be careful not to touch the new bulb with you hands since premature burnout can occur from the grease off your skin. I got my bulb from Wal-Mart for $8.88 (it's a 9003/HB2 for the 2007 CR-V) -- that's a pretty cheap fix.

Corolla 99 headlights

The car is equipped with Daytime running lights so it will always be on...to turn it off you must go in the hood and on the right side next to the engine air filter and fuse box, there is two smaller fuze boxes and the first one going from down to up direction labels DRL left and DRL right which are two fuses 10A or so take them off and they will not come on!

2005 Corolla LE brake lights not working

to ss1957, i have exactly the same problem as yours. At first i thought the bulbs of both side are okay because the filaments (there's two on each) are intact. It turned out that they're not. The brake lights came back as soon as I replaced the bulbs.
