Look on side cylinder block beside starter.you have to remove the starter to remove the crankshaft sensor.

Location of crankshaft censer 2007 chevy cobalt

The Crank shift sensor is located in front of the motor in between the intake manifold and oil filter housing, nest to the knock sensor. Look on side cylinder block beside starter.you have to remove the starter to remove the crankshaft sensor. Hope this helps. Thanks for choosing Fixya, RJ

Cam position sensors are located on top of the valve cover and it is a very easy fix......Hope this helps.

2005 chevy cobaltss sc 31,000 miles and have p1182 code what is it? bad vaccum hoses?

the p1182 code is an o2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 2) open circuit durning coast down fuel cut-off. i recently looked into buying a saturn ion redline (same engine as cobalt ss sc) and i read that they have alot of problems with the MAF sensor needing to constantly be cleaned and/or adjusted when throwing the P1182 code.
