2006 v6 escudo water leaking in the rear well . Anyone have any ideas

There are a couple of possible causes. Does it only get wet during really wet weather or all of the time?
If it is only when it rains it could be one of the rubber seals on one of the doors leaking. Check ALL the doors and rear access as water leaks can get in at one place and travel pooling up somewhere else.
If it happens all the time the most obvious cause could be the pipe for the rear screen wash spray leaking.

The open door indicater is stuck on & it stays on when ignition is off on my 1999 torago

Hi Darren, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair.

Darren most likely you have a defective door ajar switch causing the computer to see that door open all the time and turning on the light. Most are built into the door latch, some are on the body of the car, so you'll need a latch for the door that's causing the issue or a switch that mounts into the door opening on the body. The parts people will know which one you have. Hope this helps and should you find the time please visit my auto-repair-website HERE: http://www.bigasautorepair.com/

2003 f 150 will not crank during wet weather

If the starter does not engage during wet weather but works fine otherwise it will most likely be an electrical issue. The first thing to do is test the small start wire at the starter while holding the ignition in crank position. Use a test light and if the start circuit is good, the test light will light and the problem will be within the starter. If the test light does not light, the problem will be electrical and could be the starter relay or any wiring in between

My electric window on the drivers side and the rear vent window do not operate. Can this be a defective master module on the drivers side door.

It is USUSALLY just the rocker switch in the door there. Water drips on it when window is open during wet weather. This causes the contacts under that switch to corrode. Those are simple an easy to replace. Pop off the inside door panel (screw under the inside door latch handle, 2 or 3 screws under the arm rest - then plastci pop screws all around the sides and bottom. these can just pull out. Then it lifts off the top ledge. turn it and you'll see the switch still attached to the panel. try cleaning - will probably need replacement.

What would cause front driver side floor to be wet and windows were shut

HI. Two possible causes here. There may be a crack in the weather stripping on the windshield assembly ,or the heater core has ruptured, thus causing the coolant that flows through this device to leak out onto the cabin floor. The core is mounted under the dashboard. Inspect the hoses that connect to the core. If they are not loose, and the clips are tight, the core may be damaged. Check the weather stripping on the windows, and front windshield for cracks and weak points, as well.

Replace the heater core if the leak is visible in the general area of the core device.

Could be a worn or defective door switch. That is the first thing I would check.

Rain water leaks through front driver side speaker.

Most of the door panels have a plastic liner - usually white between the door and the door panel. It normally is glued onto the inside of the metal door itself. There is a formed indentation for the speaker that are supposed to keep the moisture from entering the speaker from the back side. Thus, the speaker should only be wet if it gets wet from inside the car. I would make sure that the speaker has this kind of a shield on the back side. Rick

2003 Explorer door ajar light stay on when all doors are closed

I had this problem on my 2003 explorer and took WD40 and gave the lock mechanism a good dose where it meets the clasp on the door jam. Then open and close the doors a couple of times to get them working. They get gummed up and sometimes have a tendency to stick.
