Question about Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Open Question

I have a mercedes benz s class 350 turbo diesel 1996 W 140. The turbine after 2000 revs it sounds intense that it works and the car has a vibration transferred to the floor of the driver. The noise sounds like something is open to foray into the air. When I close the turbine the car has failed but it works quietly. Thank you. Thank you. John Spanos Akrata creece

Adjusting
Selector lever
Move to position "P" and turn ignition key to position "0".
Ball nipple of cable (40B) Cable
Clip in and insert into holder.
Cable (40B)
Pull jacket in direction of arrow until lock lever (44B) rests against the cam (48).
Ball nipple of cable (40L)
Clip in and insert.
Cable (40L)
Pull jacket in direction of arrow until lock lever (44L) rests against cam (48) and tighten retaining bolt to 5 Nm .

NOTE: The cables are bolted to the steering lock and hooked onto the brake pedal operating lever. They are routed securely to the floor-mounted shift control without kinks.

Testing After Adjustment
Ignition key in position "1" and brake pedal depressed > or = 25 mm :
The locking levers (44B) and (44L) must disengage fully from the cam (48) so that the selector lever handle can be moved to position "N" without resistance. The parking lock is unlocked.
Brake pedal not depressed:
Move selector lever handle from position "N" to position "P" and turn ignition key to position "0": the locking levers (44B) and (44L) must engage in the cam (48). The parking lock is operative. Press on protective cap.

1983 mercedes 300d turbo diesel automatic electrical problem


There is a junction block about 6 inches in front of the battery on the fender, there should be battery voltage on the big wires. The small wire is the starter solenoid. Front the junction block, the power goes to the light switch then to the ignition switch.

I have a Mercedes Benz C250 Turbo Diesel that is overheating.


Try running the engine with the water filler cap off and see if the water level goes up and down at the same time as you rev the engine. If it does then you have blown headgasket and your water will be being pumed out through the exhaust.

The waste gate is on the turbo....the can with a hose on it. The "regulator" on a 300d is in the diesel pump
