The idle goes up and down, and i see a little smoke coming out of tail pip. could it be my idle controler?

any mech(tech) looks down that well holes
and if full of oil , its VC time.
if full of water, shoot your pressure waster guy.
or if the boots are all melted and or look all nwith carbon, its NEW BOOT TIME

VC means valve cover gasket SET , which includes
the rings that keep wells DRY.
not Viet cong, (i survived them mofos.)

White smoke usually means coolant is in cylinders = bad head gasket or worse.

Possibly a blown head gasket, letting coolant into the cylinders to be burned. White smoke is usually coolant burning. Have the engine's compression tested to verify.

You don't say what the make model and year is, but yes it could be an intake gasket.
It could also be a leaking head gasket among other things.

is there is a tail smoke or strange smell from tail pip cause i doubt rhat you have a bad sensor exactly O2 sensor

I thing there is the compressor wrong.If the power is changing when a smoke is coming from the tail pipe means- COMPRESSOR.Just mention - oil is also type of fuel,but coming blue smoke at the back.Worst-white smoke.That is really bat

some of the time when a vehicle sits over night or for several hours you will get some water vapor that looks like white smoke until the vehcile warms up the cats on the exhaust system. Double check coolant level make sure it is where it should be if not I would say you have a head gasket problem and you need to have it fixed.

change the fuel regulator--check the vacumn to it
